From 1980 to 1996 with a break for playing at Juventus in the 1987/88 season. Ian spent 15 seasons at Liverpool and played 469 games in the First Division.

He established himself in the base only for the second season at the club, but after that, he became one of the stars of Liverpool. For 15 seasons with the Reds, he became the team’s top scorer nine times.

He set a record for the most goals scored for a club that has not been beaten so far: 346 goals. In the 1983/84 season, he was the first in the history of the club to receive the Golden Boot. After Ian, only one Liverpool player, Luis Suarez, has received this award.

From 1992 to 2001 and from 2006 to 2007. Robbie spent 10 seasons at Liverpool and played 266 league appearances.
