The new season of the year 2022 of the WTA in its 52nd edition has already begun. This tour is recognized as the circuit of the professional tennis elite. Several Grand Slam tournaments, WTA 1000 tournaments, WTA 500 tournaments, WTA 250 tournaments, cups, and really exciting championships are played there.

What is The 2022 WTA Calendar?
The Women’s Tennis Association is the main organization that governs the talent of this category in the world. This is in charge of coordinating the 2022 WTA Tour which, in turn, is under the supervision of the ITF (International Tennis Federation).

WTA Calendar 2022
This new season with the WTA 2022 calendar came with some changes to its calendar, such as the suspension of the tournaments that were planned for this year in China and Hong Kong. This decision is due to the safety of the tennis player Shuai Peng, after the accusations of sexual abuse of her against Zhang Gaoli, a very important member of the Chinese Communist Party.
